Mr. Ladd directs all of CIA’s investment strategies and oversees the firm’s trading activities. Michael has worked as an investment analyst and decision maker for more than 20 years and has covered a host of the world’s equity, fixed income and currency markets throughout his career. He earned his MBA from the University of Oklahoma and holds the following investment professional designations: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Market Technician (CMT), and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
On a personal note, Michael is married with one child, likes to play golf and study scientific subjects. He also has an affinity for the performing arts, having earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Oklahoma City University. Back in his college days, he performed lead roles in operas such as The Tales of Hoffman, Cavalleria Rusticana, La Traviata, and The Magic Flute. He was twice a member of the Aspen Music Festival’s Opera Theater Center and also performed opera in Europe with the Rome Festival Orchestra.

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Brady’s primary duties include running the firm's day-to-day operations, along with his wealth and portfolio management, financial planning, investment analysis and business development responsibilities. Brady has a decade of professional experience as an investment and financial advisor both in the U.S. and abroad. Brady earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University. He has also completed various courses of study at the Institute of Economics and Political Studies in Cambridge, UK and holds the designation Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
Outside of work, Brady enjoys spending time with family, doing community volunteer work, running, sailing, traveling and playing golf. Brady and his wife, Renee, live in the Point Loma area of San Diego.
